hello!

My name is Carolina Corredor.

I am a senior product designer with experience in processes of design UI/UX and end-to-end product definition.

Let me tell you my story…
I am passionate about all areas of design.

With 17 years of experience in product design, throughout my professional career, I have worked hand-in-hand with CEOs, CPOs, product managers and development teams, not just defining and developing user-centric digital products with real-life impact, but also contributing to the product vision and strategy.

I enjoy the creation process and I love to combine my bits of knowledge to inspire me and to achieve creative and integral results.

I believe in the power of the small details, keeping things simple and bearing in mind, above all, the functionality and the user experience.

I started working when I was 18 years old, being the eyes of a lovely old lady with permanent blindness. This developed my most human side and made me much more aware of the accessibility needs of this collective.

After that stage, I began to study Artistic Photography, where I learned for 2 years to communicate through visual elements. At the same time, I was working for 4 years designing and developing courses in digital environments. It was my first approach to programming logic and user flows within a screen.

I delved into topics such as user-centered design, design thinking, design systems and qualitative and quantitative research.

After finishing photography, I started a Degree in Graphic Design. There I learned to apply the foundations of design and ideation techniques. During the last year of these studies, I participated in an exchange program in Milan for a Degree in Graphic Design and Art Direction.

In my final thesis, I focused on a real project, a point in which I started working on the design of solutions for the e-learning sector, participating in the discovery and co-creation of new user-centric functionalities.

This experience marked the beginning of a journey where I have worked with CEOs, CPOs, Product Managers, and development teams.

Together, we have designed end-to-end B2C and B2B solutions, defined and implemented research plans, and co-creation processes with prominent clients in the education sector, including Harvard, Oxford, and Nebrija Universities, and important companies in the logistics sector, such as XPO, Correos Express, and Bridgestone, among others.

Finally, and continuing with the multi-tasking trend, I studied a Master’s Degree in Research in Art and Creation, giving free rein to my creative side and experimenting within the framework of the fusion between art and technology.

Broadly speaking, that has been the path that has brought me here, maintaining that curiosity and versatility that have led me to be a product designer with the necessary skills to develop innovative solutions that solve real problems and provide value from the very beginning.
